Jon Stretter, b. 1975

Jon was born in California where he attended Redwood Middle School, St Helena High School and Vintage High School. Jon lives in a large home in Angwin with his parents. He enjoys long rides in the family van, playing ball, and a regular routine which includes watching nature videos and football. He also loves going out to eat with his family. Jon previously attended the Calistoga Program, where he would prepare his own lunch or sometimes visit the Palisades Deli. There he would sit on a bench and watch trucks go by. Jon had always been the leader of the pack -- walking or even running before everybody else. Jon has a disorder called NBIA, which has caused him to be wheelchair bound. For many years now, Jon has attended the Brown Street Gallery where he likes to do artwork with watercolors and sponge. Art making is primarily therapeutic for Jon.
